May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (#APAHM). ❤️ We've said it before and we will say it again: There is no survivor justice without racial justice. Our work is fighting for Asian and Pacific Islander (API) survivors. Our work is ensuring that API folks are safe in this country. Our work is dismantling the fetishization and dehumanization of Asian women and femmes. Our work is acknowledging the ways this country has and continues to commit state violence against API communities and honoring API individuals who make history. Our work is acknowledging racial triangulation as a tool of white supremacy that pits API communities against Black communities as part of an anti-Black agenda - and eradicating it. #1Thing you can do this #APAHM is follow NRCDV on social media as we share API-led organizations to support, API folks to learn from, and resources for API survivors.
